Budtender Review: Wedding Cake (Hybrid) 1000mg THC Tincture

Welcome back to Budtender Reviews! We are thrilled to get some more insight from Amy Silverstein (follow on IG @jaynetenderamy) on our 1000mg THC hybrid tincture made with the strain Wedding Cake from Kerby Kush Farms.

Kerby Kush Farms is located in Southern Oregon, the optimal region for growing sun-grown cannabis. Plants are fed with water from the beautiful Illinois River as they focus on sustainability and conservation. We’ve been honored to work with them for over 4 years, extracting many of their strains like Incredible Bulk, Marmalade, Rollins, Dosidos, Banana Z-Star and more. Their Wedding Cake is a hybrid strain and our friends at Urban Farmacy did a great write up on Wedding Cake last year that is a fun read, link here

Our tinctures contain just 2 ingredients: coconut oil and Refined Cannabis Oil (RCO). The Wedding Cake RCO tested at 73.73% THC, 1.45% CBG, 1.29% CBC and 10.82% terpenes. The terpene profile is very diverse with over 15 terpenes present!

Here is Amy’s review!

The dosage works out to be right around 30 mg per dropper full. Once it hits the taste buds, it is OBVIOUS that it was made using the Wedding Cake strain! The terpene profile is so well preserved in the extraction process, as I've come to expect with FFE! There are hints of grape, citrus, and subtle lavender notes for the flavor and aromas. The terpenes are Farnesene, Humulene, Linalool, Bisbolol, Limonene, Guaiol. The Limonene terpenes are usually hit or miss for me. When they are orange presenting, I can't usually enjoy it, but lemon is something I could have all day! Very palatable consistency. It's not so heavy that it coats your mouth like syrup or sticky like an RSO, but substantial enough to be dosed with the dropper. Felt a nice relaxed body high with a mostly clear mind within about 30-45 minutes. I was cool, calm, and collected. I would highly recommend it to anyone that loves a good wedding cake strain for anxiety relief, beginning of your after-work wind-down, or just to balance your mood! I look forward to trying out other tinctures!
